Humid climates
As Olivia launches, there are virtually no cosmetics lines available on a retail basis that have veen developed specifically for the special needs of the southern woman who live in extremely hot and humid climates. Nor do they cater to northeasternwomen who vacation in southern states or tropical climates.
Through high-end department stores from Nordstrom's to Neiman Marcus, and through specialty boutiques or cosmetic salons, southern women have access to the usual array of makeup perfumes and cosmetic accessories available to other women across the nation.However, none of these lines have been created for the excesses of the southern environment, especially the almost semi-tropical temperatures of summer in the southern states. In addition, Olivia's signature "hot and humid" base incorporates state-of-the-art ingredients designed to protect the skin from sun and wind, thus preventing skin cancer, chapping, and other sun and weather damage.
